*Dear Mr Mchie:  *I maintain a daily almanac for teachers and use many resources from the web to validate the entries in our almanac.  I am amazed almost on a daily basis by the degree to which African-American achievements and events are ignored by otherwise "main stream" sources such as the Library of Congress, New York Times, the History Channel, etc.  Your site regularly highlights people and events that we would otherwise have overlooked, and it allows us to ensure that our almanac provides our teachers an African-American perspective.  Thank you again for providing such a useful and informative resource.  Dr. M W, Owner/Publisher K-12 Teaching & Learning Center West Lafayette, IN
*A A Registry:   *I am an African American licensed psychotherapist and President of the
Southern Institute 4 Family and Community Preservation, Inc. I will be using your website to check my facts when needed. I've written over 40 articles that impact our culture and appreciate having you as a new resource.  Sincerely,

A. K., MS, LMHC, CSAE

Minneapolis, MN..      The African American Registry® continues educating all communities averaging over 4,000 visitors each month.  Recently Best Buy raffled a new Video Ipod with a collection of Registry Visual Legacy interviews inside to a lucky winner.     The weekend event was the Rondo Days celebration of the St. Paul Minnesota's historic black community.  The happy winner was Julian Carter (image).  We'd like to thank Best Buy for their involvement with the community and commitment to education.  The Registry helps everyone become INFORMED, INTELLIGENT, and  PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS!
